Knowing when to say goodbye can be a very difficult yet important decision. You, the pet owner, is the best judge of your dog or cats quality of life at home. Important factors to consider include whether or not you and your pet still enjoy one another, if your pet is eating and drinking regularly and if your pet is comfortable.  When these factors begin to diminish then you will know best when it is time to say goodbye.
